Asbury New Student Orientation

Three Days. 8 Hours a day...blah blah blah blah blah. I'm not saying that it's been a total waste of time. Getting to know people is definitely a plus, but come on. THREE DAYS...8 HOURS A DAY! Unnecessary!

Comments:
What??? 24 hours of orientation??? How is that even possible???
Steph

by the way, we miss you and dru back in joe town

Have you considered that the three days of orientation may be a conditioning tactic to make your classes seem interesting?

Pops

Unnecessary...hhhmmmm, goes along with the whole idea of seminary in general, unnecessary....but I'm not judgin!

" Hi, my name is Mitch, United Methodist, from St. Joseph Missouri. I like to waterski and write poetry. What do I expect from seminary?..I guess a better understanding of scripture and how to use that in ministry. I'm nervous about...hummm, maybe not having enough reading material." (laughter and claps).

Wow. Ours lasted just one day.

Smaller campus, though.

SPST = one day, a couple of hours, a small group discussion, and a picnic.
