Question of the Week

I'm starting a new segment for each week. It's simply called "Question of the Week." To start things off, we are going to begin with a doozy.

What is Salvation?

Comments:
Matthew 5:9-11

Acts 4:12 - And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."
That name would be JESUS.
Or, maybe that's "how" instead of "what". So what's "what"? Salvation is ..... Freedom from the penalty of sin (we're declared righteous), Liberty to persevere through this life ("those that the Father has given me I will in no wise cast out"), and eventually, Freedom from the very presence of sin in our eternal home ("I go to prepare a place for you. If it were not so I would have told you").

Sorry, Matthew 5:5-11 are the Beatitudes, I meant to right Romans 5:8-11.

Okay, so I'm having a bad couple of days. I meant to write Romans 5:8-11.

A rejoining of and communion with the Trinity. A joining of our life with God's life. Beautiful harmony.
