Question of the Week

What is Sanctification?

Comments:
Adam, here is the definition of sanctfication from the church by-laws of Northside Baptist where I am working: Those who have been regenerated are also sancitifed, by God's Word and spirit dwelling in them. This sanctification is progressive through the supply of Divine strength, which all saints seek to obtain, pressing after a heavenly life in cordial obedience to all Christ's commands.

According to KB (not found via a web search):

I think that sanctification is the name we give to describe the Holy Spirit's work in us - past, present and future.

The ongoing process inwhich we are transformed from what we are into what God has planned for us to be.
