Question of the Week

What does 'holistic conception of salvation' mean?

Comments:
The evangelical church constructs a dilemma for people when they are "saved". A bit of a paradox if you will. If Jesus died for your sins, there's nothing you can do to earn his love, and if you invite him into your heart as your "personal Lord and Savior" then you're assured entrance into heaven.

So the question then is: So i'm going to heaven...what the hell am I gonna do now?

Hollistic salvation is the answer to that question. Jesus redeemed your life NOW so that you can start living in the Kingdom in this life as it will be in the next.

There's my crack at your philosophical question of the week, you silly seminarian.

much love.
